IC League Technology and AP Memory Technology Sign Joint Development Agreement for Computing-in-Memory AI Products
Jiaxing, China ─ May 17, 2019 ─ IC League Technology (ICL) and AP Memory Technology (AP Memory) today announced that the companies have signed a multi-year joint development agreement to develop Artificial Intelligent (AI) accelerator chips based on a breakthrough computing-in-memory architecture. AP Memory will provide memory design while ICL will develop and distribute the AI products under ICL brand name. Additionally, the companies agreed to sign a multi-year IP and product licensing agreement for ICL to incorporate AP Memory IP in ICL products, and to distribute multiple AP Memory product lines in People’s Republic of China. These agreements will enable ICL to develop its innovative computing-in-memory AI accelerator chips. ICL will deliver AI accelerator chips, modules, and platform enablement solutions to its system customers.
“Today’s agreements are significant for our industry and our companies. The new AI chip represents a breakthrough in both computing-in-memory chip architecture and AI design technology,” said Dr. Joseph Xie, President of ICL Technology. “ICL will offer exciting technology options to worldwide system customers, including the ICL accelerators and platform solutions.”
